April Challenge and a Couple of Winners

We hope you had a fun time hopping along with us, and that you were unable to stop a giggle, laugh or guffaw escape out of your mouth when looking at the cards presented to you.  We had a lot of fun making them.  As Linda Ellerbee said, "A good time to laugh is any time you can".
If you remember, our sponsor, Floppy Latte's Digital Designs, offered a $10 gift coupon to a random winner.  All you had to do was visit each blog, leave a comment, and tell us your favorite funny.  The random generator chose Sue in CT!  Congrats, Sue!  We will let Jessica know to send you the coupon.  Have fun with your new digi's!!
Thank you so much Jessica for helping to make our Blog Hop a success.  Your designs are funny and cute, and we love surfing your catalog of digi's!

Now it's time to talk challenges.  We loved your projects for the Spring challenge.  Random generator came up with KARISSA's name.  Congrats, Karissa! Grab the winner's badge, and we will let Melissa know that you won the March Blog challenge.

April's Challenge is a good one for you and Mother Earth.  In celebration of Earth Day, April 22, we are challenging you to "go green" with your project.  Make a card, layout or altered art, but remember to reuse, recycle or upcycle in the crafting of your creation.  When you link your entry, make sure to mention how you saved a tree.  To inspire you to craft green, here are just a couple of my own projects that I made:

Using Squigglefly's Chi Anniversary digi image, I saved a tree by color blocking with leftover strips of patterned paper for the background.

Here's a Queen Kat Designs stamped image.  I saved a "tree" by using a cutting of lace leftover from another project, as well as making my own flowers out of punched circles cut from small pieces of double-sided patterned papers from my stash.

Throughout the month, our DT will show you how they can "go green" and make some gorgeous cards and layouts.

Happy crafting!
